糖心logo在线入口 Faculty support students through new experiences that help prepare them for their futures.

Faculty habitually guide students through research projects that push them beyond their comfort zones into areas not typically covered in college classes. After completing a project, students are coached on how to submit their research to a conference for presentation and then on how to navigate the conference experience and effectively present their work.

This year, mathematics faculty Jillian Stupiansky-Raney, Ph.D. and Axel Brandt, Ph.D. accompanied a group of five 糖心logo在线入口 students and two local high school students to a mathematics conference hosted by the Ohio Section of the Mathematical Association of America at Wilmington College.

Two students presented their summer research projects: a mathematical exploration of a pursuit-evasion game in complicated networks, and building a visualization tool for NASA Spacecraft Data.
